Tuition Payments and Scrip

Saints Simon and Jude School uses FACTS for tuition payments. FACTS is a convenient online system with various payment options.  If you have any questions about setting up your automatic tuition payments, please contact Scott Lash at 610-696-3624 or [email protected].

After you set up your payment plan, you will receive an email from FACTS with the withdrawl dates and amounts. FACTS will also send an email a week prior to each withdrawl. If you need to make a change to your payment schedule, you will need to contact Scott Lash at 610-696-3624 or [email protected] at least five business days before the scheduled withdrawl date.

WHAT IS SCRIP?
SCRIP is a way for SSJ families to raise money for the school and save money on their tuition.  The SCRIP program works like this.  You purchase gift cards through Great Lakes Scrip Center (GLSC).  A percentage of the purchase price is credited back to the parish. Forty percent of the discount goes directly to the school and the remaining sixty percent of the discount is credited to your SSJ tuition. There are two distribution periods for the rebates you earn.  Rebates earned from October 1through April 30 are credited on the July tuition invoice.  Rebates earned from May 1 through September 30 are credited on the January tuition invoice.

The Great Lakes Scrip Center (GLSC) offers a wide variety of retailers and rebates range from 1-16% of the face value amount of the card.

HOW DO YOU BUY SCRIP?
SCRIP is available for purchase on-line. To register for the program, go to  www.shopwithscrip.com, click on the Register button in the top right corner of the home screen and follow the simple registration instructions. Before you can set up your account, you must enter SSJ's enrollment code: 34C97CB26653.  

All plastic card orders with  ShopWithScrip.com must be placed by Monday at 9:00 AM, and the orders will be available by Friday of that same week.  Any orders received after Monday at 9:00 AM will not be processed until the next week. Orders may be sent home from school with your child or picked up in the rectory office between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM (closed from 12:30-1:30) Monday through Friday.  

“ScripNow!” and “Reload" are other options offered by the program that allow you to purchase scrip and have it delivered to your account quickly, usually within minutes.  These orders are either printed out at home (ScripNow!) or loaded on a gift card previously purchased through GLSC (Reload).  You can check on the website to see what purchase options are available for each retailer.  

All orders must be paid for with Presto-Pay. Presto-Pay is a convenient way to pay on-line at the time you place your order. GLSC will immediately debit your checking account for the face value amount of your order, plus a small convenience fee of $0.15.  Instructions on how to set up a Presto-Pay account are on the website. Presto-Pay takes 2-3 business days to set up before using for the first time, so please plan accordingly.
