Student Peace Committee

At Saints Simon and Jude, teachers, students, and parents work together as a Peace Committee. This group is dedicated to creating an atmosphere of peace, kindness, helpfulness, and happiness for the students at SSJ. Goals are to keep bullying/exclusion at bay to the best of our ability, by encouraging acts and attitudes of kindness. We also strive to connect students with those in need outside of our school community by things such as cards for the elderly, collections of items like diapers, medicines, warm clothing etc. for the needy, and technology tutoring for older adults who may be having trouble keeping up. We are open to new ideas and suggestions as well.
