I am a graduate of Cedar Crest College. My college studies included a semester in Spain. I briefly taught Spanish in Allentown to grades 5 through 8. I worked in the sewing and manufacturing industry by translating and traveling to the Dominican Republic and Haiti. I took time off to raise my family and resumed teaching the Spanish Club at Fern Hill Elementary. I am a member of Saints Peter and Paul, and served as a catechist for 1st grade for the last seven years.

WELCOME TO SPANISH CLASS

Spanish is taught here at Saints Simon and Jude from Kindergarten through 8th grade. The younger grades are exposed to new sounds and vocabulary, while the older grades go more in-depth with grammar (verb conjugation) and verbal skills (dialogues). All grades are exposed to cultural enrichment from Spanish speaking countries. This includes geography, traditions, celebrations, and forms of worship.
