Hello everyone my name is Miss Dakota Graham, and I am so happy to be here! I graduated from Saint Francis University of PA in May of 2021, with a Bachelor’s degree in History Secondary Education. I have my Social Studies & ELA grades 4-8 PA certification as well. While at SFU, I played on their Division I women’s soccer team for all four years, and was highly involved in many extracurricular clubs. When I am not in the classroom or on the soccer field, you can find me coaching, spending time with my family, or traveling! I am thrilled to be able to inspire, challenge, and push all my students to be their best through academics and faith!
WELCOME TO 8th GRADE
8 th grade is the big preparation year before high school! That being said, this school year will be academically challenging, but prepare you immensely for the academic future ahead! This year is going to entail many new learning experiences and contents, but I know we will conquer everything together, while helping one another. I am very passionate about English and Social Studies, so I have many exciting things instore!
Rules/Expectations:
Be prepared at all times! As an 8th grader, you should be responsible for knowing what is going on.
Try your best ALL the time! I never want to hear, “I can’t do it,” or “that’s too hard,” in my classroom! When you give your 100% effort every time, you are trying your best!
Be kind to everyone. You never know what people have going on in their lives, so always be mindful of your peers.
Communication is key! If you ever have a question, comment, concern, or just want to talk, I am here for you!
Respect your peers and yourself.
Hold yourself to high standards!
