After earning my B.S. in Elementary Education from Bloomsburg University, I began teaching third grade at the Catholic school I attended as a child where I was taught by the Sisters of Mercy. I then went on to teach fifth and sixth grades in the the Archdiocese of Boston and the Diocese of Rochester. I taught for nine years and then took time off to be at home with my three children. I substituted in many Chester County Catholic Schools and taught full-time in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia at St. Basil the Great School (2nd grade) and St. Maximilian Kolbe School (5th grade). I love teaching at the middle school level and challenging students to grow spiritually, academically and socially.
