Saints Simon and Jude School is excited to welcome all SSJ parishioners entering kindergarten to grade 5 for a summer filled with learning and fun! We will also offer Art (entering grades K-8) and Theater (entering grades 3-8) Intensive Camps for more specialized learning experiences! We look forward to participating in spectacular themed activities such as crafts, art, reading, movement, and STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, Math) projects. Campers will be divided by age and activities will be age-appropriate. Get ready for a GREAT summer!
The 2023 SSJ Explorers Summer Camps will be held in The Meehan Center (church lower level) and available outdoor spaces. Due to the 9 AM start coinciding with Mass time, parents will be asked to park and walk their child/ren into the building.

Themed Camps (entering grades K-5)
June 26-29 — Around the Campfire (4 Days)
July 10-14 — The Wonderful World of Disney!
July 17-21 — Around the World in a Week
July 24-28 — Insane Inventions!
July 31-August 4 — Make a Splash! (Marine Biology)
Summer Camp Teachers: Mrs. Glatts, Mrs. DiFlorio, Miss Stenson, Miss Hilbert, Mrs. Dixon, Mrs. Kelly, Miss Whoriskey, Miss Graham, and Mrs. King.
Art & Theatre Intensive Camps
June 26-29 — Art Intensive! (4 Days - entering grades K-3)
July 10-14 — Art Intensive! (entering grades 4-8)
SSJ’s Art Intensive Camp will be led by Mrs. Leicht. This program is for students who are especially interested in art. This camp will aim to give more one-on-one advice and attention. Students will engage in painting, collage, drawing, and more, and will be able to take home their artistic creations.
July 17-21 — Theatre Intensive! (entering grades 3-8)
SSJ’s Theatre Intensive Camp will be led by Mrs. Kathi Clapham. Campers will learn about various theatre topics to help them develop a greater appreciation of this art form. They will have fun performing and learning about character study, costumes, make up, dance, set/prop design, how to audition, and much more!HOURS, COST & REGISTRATION

4 Half Day Camps (June 26-29) 9 AM—12 PM — $140 per camper/per week
5 Half Day Camps (Weeks of July 10, 17, 24 & 31) 9 AM—12 PM — $170 per camper/per week
Lunch Bunch Wednesdays — For an additional $10/week, stay for an extended camp day pizza party (until 1pm) payable the week of camp (cash or check)
