Annual Fundraising Raffle 
Give a little, get a lot!  With our Annual Fundraising Raffle – No wrapping paper sales, bake-at-home pizza kits or Yankee Candles!  The weekly raffle is our main annual fundraiser for Home & School.  We ask that each family buy a ticket to support the many programs the HS&A sponsors for our children.  You are also giving your family a chance to double your money!  In thanks for your support of our fundraising efforts, we hold two drawings per month for $250!  This is really a great opportunity and the look on the face of your child when they hold that “big check” on stage at assembly is truly priceless! 

H&S Back to School Event – Welcome Back! – September
This annual event welcomes back our students and their families and provides an opportunity to meet the new families joining our community.

Casual parent social in the Meehan Center (church basement). 

Home & School General Meeting - October
Please join us for our first H&S General Meeting in the Meehan Center at 7:00 pm.  It is a great opportunity to learn more about the events that are happening at school and how you can get involved. We hope you all can attend!  Remember that attendance at all three general meetings puts you in the running for a chance to win $500 off of next year's tuition payment!

Homeroom Parent Meeting – October
Homeroom Parents/Classroom Parties – Home and School provides funds for our tireless homeroom parents to plan fun holiday celebrations and parties for our children each year.  All classes celebrate four events per year, plus numerous special events.   

Walk-a-Thon – October
Families are welcome to join our students as they walk laps around the school, participate in activities, enjoy music and a special treat.

Trunk or Treat – October
Bring your youngsters in costume for a fun day of “trunk or treating” with SSJ friends in the lower school parking lot. Rain location:  Monihan Hall (school cafeteria)

Trivia Night – November
Come have fun, test your knowledge and hang out with new and old friends! This annual parent event is a favorite!

Santa’s Secret Shop – November
Your little ones can shop for family and friends to spread some Christmas joy. 

Breakfast with Santa – December
Come enjoy some breakfast treats and a visit by Santa himself! 

Catholic School’s Week Open House – January-February
SSJ is open to family and friends for tours following Sunday masses.  Let your children play tour guide to show you around the school to see their work on display.  Special events are held throughout the week.

Book Fair – January
Students have the opportunity to shop with their classmates.  All proceeds benefit the SSJ library. 

Talent Show – January
Come see our gifted SSJ students in grades 4 to 8 (and teachers) perform in our very own talent showcase.  Always the highlight of Catholic Schools Week!

Designer Bag Bingo - March
Join us for a night of bingo and the chance to win designer handbags.

Mother/Son Night – TBD

Sweetheart/Father-Daughter Dance – April
K-8 girls and their dads or a special guy will dance the night away in The Meehan Center at SSJ. 

Grandparents/VIP Day – April
Students are joined by their special guest VIPs for an afternoon dedicated to their special relationship.  VIPs will enjoy a performance by our student body, a chance to see their classrooms and a special treat.
