Saints Simon and Jude School’s Annual Fund allows us to meet the needs of each student by supporting the many priorities of our school. The Fund helps to bridge the gap between tuition revenue and expenses. Tuition covers approximately 74% of what it costs to educate a student at SSJ. Our goal is to cover the remaining percentage with donations to our Annual Fund and parish support from Sunday collections.

Please see below how the funds raised will be allocated. Your commitment will help to ensure that Saints Simon and Jude will continue to provide the highest quality Catholic education while developing the hearts and minds of our children. Technology... SSJ's technology needs are always a top priority. We have expenses related to new equipment and Chromebook upkeep for students in kindergarten to grade eight who have school issued one-to-one devices. SSJ continues to integrate STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, and Math) into its curriculum at all levels from preschool to grade eight. We also have a Makerspace area in our Media Center for "discovery learning" to engage and empower students to design and create.

Student/Faculty Enrichment... Student enrichment includes licenses for online digital platforms to enhance our curriculum in the areas of math, ELA, science, and social studies. Faculty members take advantage of many professional development opportunities throughout the year.

Fine Arts Programs... SSJ's fine arts programs help students enhance their creative problem-solving skills as well as out-of-the-box thinking. All art supplies are provided by the school for hands-on weekly lessons. SSJ's Theatre Program provides performing arts opportunities for students in kindergarten to grade eight.

Instructional Materials... SSJ does not receive government funding for religion books and other extras, such as library books. Many other materials are used on a daily basis including science lab supplies.

Maintenance/Security... To maintain a pleasant and safe environment for our students, SSJ invests in upkeep and improvements of our school building and surrounding property. The security of everyone is a priority and enhancements are made based on recommendations from our Security Committee.

Financial Aid... SSJ’s goal is to provide a quality education for all families who wish to send their children to a Catholic school. We provide financial assistance to all families who qualify.

Endowment Fund... 10% of funds raised will be allocated to our endowment fund, ensuring a quality Catholic education for many years to come.
